Our community boasts 5 bespoke 3 bedroom , 3 bath flats, that have been lovingly designed to solve the unique issues that new repatriates may face in their transition into life in Senegal. Each of the apartments come fully furnished, filled with art with stocked kitchens as well as linens. You need only bring your clothing!
We have various rental models that will meet your needs, from short term leasing option where one can select 1 bedroom or all 3; we also have a shared space that acts as a family house. Finally we have options for yearly leases as well. It was very important to us to be able to accommodate the travelers and explorers among us that only spend limited time in Senegal as well as the families that come to settle.
Sankofa Arms’ founders Queen Haynesworth and Tee Darby repatriated to Senegal in 2019. The vision to create this space was birthed out of our experience being brand new to a foreign country without a blue print of how to establish ourselves. We wanted to solve all of those issues for the next family that made the leap to move to Africa.
Our team is dedicated to making sure that your stay here at Sankofa Arms is as restful as possible. We have a manager on site, 24/7 security and housekeeping. Our concierge can assisting arranging airport pickups, daily drivers, and tours within the Dakar region. We pride ourselves on being able to anticipate the needs of our guests and world class customer service is our top priority, we want you to return to the Arms of Sankofa many times again!
